The short version
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or social media pixels, and we do not load Google Fonts. We count visits with Ahrefs Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without tracking you across sites. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The only things stored on your device when you use trans.fans are your 18+ confirmation in localStorage and, sometimes, a strictly necessary security cookie from our hosting network.
What cookies and localStorage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They are sent back to the server with every request. localStorage is similar browser storage, but it stays on your device and is not sent to the server automatically. Websites use both to remember things between visits.
Your 18+ confirmation
When you confirm you are 18 or older, we save that choice in your browser's localStorage under the key tf_age_ok, so you do not have to confirm again on every page. It is not a cookie, it contains no personal details and it is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for trans.fans. You will then see the 18+ screen again.
Strictly necessary security cookies
trans.fans is hosted on GoDaddy Managed WordPress behind GoDaddy's content delivery network, which is provided by Cloudflare. To deliver pages quickly and protect the site against bots and attacks, this network processes your IP address and may set security cookies (for example to recognize that your browser already passed a security check).
These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work safely, do not track you across other sites and are not used for marketing. Under EU rules they do not need your consent. They are described in more detail in Cloudflare's own cookie documentation.
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). Our visitor statistics come from Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media pixels or embedded share widgets that track you.
- No external font requests: our fonts are self-hosted.
Affiliate links and other sites
Some links on trans.fans are affiliate links to fan platforms. We do not set any cookie when you click one. But once you arrive on the platform or affiliate network (for example Fansly, Fanvue, LoyalFans, FanCentro, KNKY, F2F, 4based or Ohchat), that site may set its own cookies on its own domain to record that the sign-up came through us. That happens on their site and falls under their cookie and privacy policy, which you can read and manage there.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking the security cookies may mean you are asked to complete a security check more often. Clearing site data removes your 18+ confirmation. Useful links: the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all have a section on "cookies and site data".
Changes
