OnlyFans or Fansly: which is better for trans creators?

Both pay creators 80% and both support livestreams. OnlyFans has the biggest audience but almost no discovery, one subscription price and no affiliate deal with us. Fansly can be free to follow, supports multiple tiers and has a For You feed and tags that help new creators get found. If you already have followers elsewhere, OnlyFans works. If you are starting from zero, Fansly's discovery helps.

What is the difference between Fanvue and OnlyFans?

Both pay 80% and have a $4.99 minimum subscription. Fanvue supports multiple tiers and offers AI tools for messages and insights, but it has no livestreams. OnlyFans has one price per profile, livestreams and a far bigger audience, with almost no discovery inside the platform. Read our Fanvue guide if the AI tools interest you.

LoyalFans vs FanCentro: which should a trans creator pick?

LoyalFans pays 80%, has a $4.99 minimum, tiers, livestreams and a clip store. FanCentro pays 75%, has a $5 minimum, tiers, livestreams, clip sales and paid DMs. They are close in features, so the 5-point difference in payout and where your fans already are will usually decide it. Both work well as a second platform alongside a bigger one.

Which fan platform has the lowest subscription price?

F2F has the lowest minimum at €1.50. OnlyFans, Fanvue and LoyalFans start at $4.99 and FanCentro at $5. Fansly lets you be free to follow and charge for tiers on top. A low price can bring in more subscribers, but it also means you need more of them. Test your pricing rather than racing to the bottom.

Which platforms let Dutch fans pay with iDEAL?

F2F and KNKY both accept iDEAL, the payment method most Dutch people use online. If a large part of your audience is in the Netherlands, offering one of these removes a real barrier, because many Dutch fans do not want to use a credit card for adult content. Our KNKY guide and F2F guide explain the details.

Does the platform matter more than promotion?

Usually not. On most platforms, subscribers come from traffic you send yourself: X, Reddit, short video and your link page. The platform decides the payout rate, tools and payment methods, but it rarely builds your audience for you. Fansly's discovery feed is the main exception. Pick a platform that fits your plan, then put most of your energy into steady promotion.

Should I choose a fan platform based on the payout percentage?

It is one factor, not the main one. The gap between 75% and 80% matters less than whether your fans can pay easily, whether you can use tiers, and whether the platform helps people find you. A platform with an extra 5% but no audience that fits you will earn you less. Compare features and audience first, then the percentage.

What are 4based and Ohchat, and should trans creators consider them?

They are smaller extras. 4based has a German-speaking audience, so it makes sense if you speak German or have fans in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Ohchat is built around an AI digital twin that chats with fans in your style. Both are best treated as add-ons to a main platform. Check their current terms before signing up.
